Our friend Karchoong visited us despite the bad roads and it is always a pleasure to have good friends over. Cooked Khao Suey today, one of my favourite dishes.
Khao Suey is a Burmese dish, chicken stew cooked in coconut milk over rice noodles ( egg noodles are generally used but I like it better with rice noodles) with topping of fried onions, garlic, crispy noodles, few sprigs of Thai basil and a slice of lime. Served in one of our deep bowl glazed in our Nightscape glaze and Caramel Brown glaze.
